Load and modify styles

- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll see how to load and modify text styles in InDesign. Here in our exercise file, we have a simple table of contents for a digital magazine and right now, it doesn't look very good because of the very plain formatting using a default font. So we need to format it with paragraph and character styles to match the rest of the text in the magazine. As an alternative to creating styles from scratch, you can load them from another document or from a Creative Cloud library. To load them from a document, I'll first choose the typography workspace because that'll show me my paragraph and then I'll go to the Paragraph Styles panel menu and choose Load All Text Styles. In the exercise files folder for this movie, and click Open. Then in the Load Styles dialog box, I can choose which styles to bring in by clicking the check boxes on the left side and there are handy buttons to select all the styles or none of them to start.
