The next feature I'm showing is called Live Corner Effects. Maybe some of you have seen that. While I select an object, we have a little yellow square or button here that appears when I select these frames. See? What this does, this allows us to go edit the corners of that object, and it even has a little tool tip here that says, Click to Edit the Corners. So we click, oh, and now we have four little diamond shapes on the angles of that shape.
Let's see what happens when we drag one. As we drag the shape around, you will see that the object becomes rounded corners, okay? This was something that was much, much longer to do before. We actually had to create the shape first, and then use it to put our images, or content in, okay? If I press the Shift key, I can take one of those angles and actually make this one square, okay? And make this one square as well. So very, very easily and quickly, I can now apply rounded corners only to certain parts of that image.
So, let's say that may be in this image, I just want the rounded corner on the top right part. So, I would simply go in there and remove the corner effect on those, okay? And this is the effect that we will now get. There's of course, other things we can do. Let's try this on that image here. Click to edit corners. Let's open the corners. Let's make them rounded like this. And by pressing down the Alt or Option key, I can now cycle through the various effects that are inside of those light corner effects.
This is some sort of artistic wand of beveled one and inside square, inside rounded, okay? And back to normal, okay? So, let's drag one out to this style. So, maybe the inside rounded one. And then, of course, by pressing the Alt or Option key and the Shift key together, I can choose a style for just this point here, okay? So, I can cycle here, and maybe even have an artistic one over here. So, of course, as a designer, I wouldn't go wild on those.
I will make all of them different. But it is important to know that you acutally can, okay? So, you can apply rounded corners very, very quickly using those Live Corner Effects. You can apply them selectively on only one of the corners, or only two of the four corners. And then, you can apply different effects, different corner effects simply by using the Alt or Option key on your keyboard while you're clicking on these little yellow diamonds, okay? So, this is a really great new feature to very, very easily apply effects, to your frames.
