- [Voiceover] To conclude this chapter on leading I'd like to talk about leading short cuts and a couple of preferences that relate to leading. First of all, let's look at some keyboard shortcuts. So if I select a paragraph, and I've used this one before, to increase the leading, option or alt and the down arrow, and to decrease the leading, option or alt and the up arrow. If I want to move in five times that specified increment, I will also hold down the command or control key, so that's option + command + down arrow, up arrow, or control + alt + down arrow and up arrow. When I say increment what I'm referring to is the increment here in your units and increments preferences. Windows users you'll find your preferences under the edit menu, and it's the same one that's used when sizing type with short cuts, size slash leading.
