The last tool for the moment that we might find useful is a previewer. Which would save us sideloading out onto a device each and every time. Fortunately the Kindle previewer is freely available. And it allows us to view on a range of devices. You can see in this file I have got open here, I can emulate this on a Kindle Fire HD. Or change the window size like so. Unfortunately, it also has the unwanted side effect at the moment of moving it into my other monitor.
But there you go. I can preview on the Kindle Fire HDX and the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 inch from there. And I've got a range of tools for navigation inside of there. So I can move through in a way similar to the user. It's easy enough to get a hold of. If I go out to Safari just here. If I search on Kindle previewer, you'll see one of the first links I get is at Amazon.com. You can click, like so. It will take you through to this page.
And it shows you, it's a graphical user interface tool, that emulates how the books look on Kindle devices and applications. It's downloadable from either of these links here, one for Windows, one for Mac. There's a little FAQ underneath that. And also a link through to the previewer documentation. Although, as I remember, that should come down when you click on the download anyway. It's just a PDF inside of there. So there you are. In this movie you've learned about the last tool we're going to need for the time being. The Kindle previewer.
