- [Voiceover] Whether you're creating a table from scratch and designating the number of rows or columns you think you might want in your table, or importing a table that someone else has created, you're probably going to need, at some point to be able to add or subtract row or columns from your table. Fortunately, it's really easy to do. I'm going to select this table and let's start by taking a look at the Table Setup dialog. At the top of this dialog, we have Table Dimensions including the number of rows and columns. We can add or subtract rows or columns here. But, here's the thing, if I add rows or columns, they are only added to the outside edge of the table. Same thing if I delete the number of rows or columns, they are added to the outside. And, if I already have some content in my table, this may not be what I want. I'm going to actually delete a column and it comes from the outside of the table.
