How to export colors as an ASE file

- [Instructor] An ASE, or Adobe Swatch Exchange, has been the default file format for color swatches within Adobe applications for probably two decades, and the good thing is that Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are all able to export and import this file type. Let's take a look. Let's start here in Adobe Photoshop, where I have a basic file open. So the idea is to take the Swatches panel and export a few swatches to Adobe InDesign. To make this happen, I'll click the Swatches panel at the top right of the screen and drag this into the screen here, just to get a little bit more space. From here, I'm going to open up the Pastel folder, and I'll hold down the Shift key and click one swatch and then hold down the Shift key and click another swatch to select its entire series. From there, I'll click the panel menu, and I'll choose Export Swatches for Exchange. Now, from the Save As screen, I'll call this…
