- As you probably know, Adobe is now updating InDesign periodically throughout the year. And so, I'm going to be regularly updating this title, too, so that we stay up to date as much as possible. For example, the version of InDesign that came out in June of 2015 is called the 2015 version of InDesign CC. Then, the second release would be called 2015.1 then 2015.2 and so on. You can see if Adobe has released any new versions by using the Creative Cloud app, up here in the menu bar on the Mac or in the taskbar on Windows.
Or, here on InDesign, you can go to the Help menu and choose Updates... And, whenever there's a new feature that I need to talk about, or a movie has to be updated with some new information, you'll see it marked it the table of contents with its version number. Now, if the changes are so small that it doesn't really affect what I'm teaching, I may not call out the differences. So, that means your version of InDesign may look very slightly different than mine. If that happens, you don't have to worry about it. Also, when you open the files from the exercise folder, you probably see some of them appear with the word converted in the title bar.
That just indicates that you've opened a file in a slightly newer version. It's not a problem. And you can work with a file exactly the same way I do in the movie.
