Formatting text - InDesign Tutorial

Formatting text
- [Instructor] InDesign provides extensive text formatting control that you can use in your designs. Using the Zoom tool, zoom in on the Pittinger Gallery text at top of your document. Switching over to the Type tool, click and drag from the Pittinger Gallery text down to New York, New York. In the Properties panel, choose Myriad Pro from the font menu and change the point size to 12 points if necessary and increase the leading or the space between lines of copy to 16 point. Highlight only the Pittinger Gallery text and choose bold from the font face dropdown menu. To add additional space above the bold subhead text that we just formatted, click on the More Options button in the paragraph category and in the space before field, type 16 pt and hit the Enter key to add 16 points of space before that paragraph of text.
