Formatting text in a cell

- Since most tables have text in at least some of the cells, whether it's alphabetical or numerical information, it's important to understand how to format text within each cell of your table. The good news is is that text formatting is the same in tables as it is for text in any regular old text frame in InDesign. Let's take a look. First, I can click in a cell and if I use command or control a, select all, it selects all the text in that cell. If I press the escape key, it selects the cell and the text. Either one is fine when it comes to formatting text. If I want to format and entire row, I can just click on that row and select it and start formatting the text. Let's say for example, we want to change the font in this header row. I'll select the text and just come to the font list here and I'll type in the font I want, Myriad Pro Bold. And the font changes.
