Fitting placed art to its frame

- In this movie, I'll show you a few different ways to scale placed artwork so it fits inside of its frame, or vice versa, you can fit the frame to the placed artwork. The great thing about these options is that they're all automated and they're as simple as clicking on a few icons in the control panel. Here I am looking at my single page design. I'm going to scroll down a little bit. I can see this text block at the bottom of the page. I'll click on it with the selection tool, and then I'll press the Delete key, or the Backspace key on the Mac, in order to get rid of it. Now I'll click on this horizontal guideline, down here near the bottom of the page, and I'll once again press Delete or Backspace to get rid of it as well. That'll just give us some more room to work with. Now let's say I want to create some frames in advance of placing my artwork, and I'll do so using the rectangular frame tool, which allows you to create frames for either placed text or graphics.
