- [Instructor] There are a few final things to talk about. If you unzipped your e-book to work on the individual pieces, you will want to rezip it. In the Mac context that means dragging your e-book back over the eCanCrusher icon. On a PC, you only need to rezip it. If you have embedded fonts and you're going to turn this EPUB into a MOBI file, you will want to take a few extra steps. You're going to want to delete the ecryption.xml file from the META-INF folder and go find the original non-subsetted versions of the fonts to replace them in the e-book. The reason for this extra step is this: when an e-book is exported from InDesign, InDesign makes a version of those fonts that include only the glyphs called for in that content, also known as a subset. Encrypted subsetted fonts won't work when the EPUB is converted to MOBI. If those embedded fonts are important to you, you should consider taking this couple of extra…
