Exporting a PDF file
- [Instructor] The PDF format ensures that anyone who opens the file will see it in its final intended form. InDesign allows you to easily export the PDF format by choosing File, Export. From the Format dropdown menu, go ahead and choose Adobe PDF (Print) and navigate to the location where you would like the PDF to be saved. Note that there is a format for Adobe PDF (Interactive), which is used for documents containing interactive elements, such as video and buttons. Click Save or OK. From the Adobe PDF Preset dropdown menu, you could choose Smallest File Size for web and email distribution, High Quality Print or PDFX for press output. I'm going to choose High Quality Print. I'm going to change some viewing options to control how the PDF file is opened, and I'll go ahead and view the PDF after I export it. I'm also going to turn on the Hyperlinks checkbox, which is useful in the event that your document has hyperlinks…
