Exploring the HTML export options available in InDesign

- So now we're gonna take a look at the good old default HTML export that has been with InDesign for a very long time. The goal of this HTML export is to extract content from the stories within an InDesign document. If you want to follow along in the exercise files, I'm in Chapter 2 > 02_02. I'm gonna open up the alice.idml file in the start folder. This document has a few pages, but it's all one story linked together. And on each page there's a single text frame. All the images are anchored inside this one story so this will work really well for the default HTML export. To export it, I'm gonna go up to File and choose Export, and as a Format I'm gonna make sure to choose HTML. I'm gonna save this in the 02_02 end folder, and give it a name of alice. Once I click Save I get the HTML Export Options dialogue. In here I have the option to Export a Selection instead of the entire Document. I'm just gonna leave this as the entire Document.
