- In this video, we'll take a look at color as it relates to the HTML export. InDesign documents do not have overt color modes like Photoshop documents do. An InDesign document can include content uses any color mode. It's important to note, however, that depending on which intent you select when you create your document, InDesign will generate a different set of swatches. Let's demonstrate that by going up to File and choosing New Document in InDesign. As the intent in the New Document dialogue, I'm going to select Print, and click okay. Then, I'll take a look at the Swatches in the document, and by default I have a set of six CMYK Swatches beyond the non-registration paper and black swatches. Now, I'll repeat those same steps going up to File, New Document. Except this time, I'm going to choose Web or digital publishing as the intent. Now, when I click okay, again, I have six color swatches in my document. This time they're RGB colors. Now, this wouldn't be so interesting except…
