Editing CSS
- [Instructor] Cascading style sheets or CSS are quite a different beast to HTML, presenting unique challenges and editing conventions. CSS is focused on the style of text. So, the color, the font, the effects. Where HTML is focused on the format or the class of the text such as heading text, paragraph text, bulleted lists et cetera. CSS is structured around HTML elements and classes. In this case h1 is the selector, the thing being acted upon. Everything inside the curly brackets is the declaration. There are a number of valid properties and then values that can be applied to those properties. I would suggest that if editing CSS and HTML is going to become a regular part of your work that a desk reference book would be a good investment.
