- [Instructor] One of the reasons that I'm so attached to oXygen is that it validates HTML and CSS on the fly. If you're editing in a text editor that doesn't redline errors, you will need to rely heavily on external validation software like EPUB Checker, but let's have a closer look at what validation on the fly means. So, I have this EPUB opened in oXygen. I'm going to migrate to one of the HTML files and intentionally make an error. So, in here, what I'm going to do is delete the closing tag here and see what happens. oXygen has automatically redlined the error and this along the side just shows me that there's a whole bunch of errors now occurring in this content because of this one missing tag. So, as you can see, what happens is that oXygen highlights everything after that error. The validation error does need some parsing though. The validation error's along the bottom of the screen, it says, "Element h2 not allowed…
