Creating a typographic workspace

- [Voiceover] Before we start, a quick word about Workspace. I'm in the Essentials Workspace. This is my Workspace Picker and I'm going to switch to the Typography Workspace and I suggest that you do the same so that we all have the same panels in the same location. You can also change your Workspace from under the Window menu. Another point I should mention is that my default unit of measurement is points. You can change your unit of measurement at any time by coming to where the rulers intersect and right or Control clicking. Now, this is largely a matter of personal preference that I use points, but a strong case can be made for points being the preferable unit of measurement when working with type. Type size is always expressed in points so to me, at least, it makes sense to have other measurements relating to type also expressed in points, but feel free to change this as and when you need to.
