- [Instructor] Let's begin our look at the ACA…objectives on creating page layouts by practicing…the steps for creating new documents.…I'll choose File, New, Document.…And let's create a document using the Mobile Intent.…Notice how choosing an intent changes…many of the options here in the dialog box.…For example, if I had chosen Print Intent,…I get paper page sizes, like letter and A4.…If I choose Web Intent, I get purely pixel-based page sizes.…And if I choose Mobile, I get…device-based page sizes, like iPad.…
So we'll choose that, 1024 by 768 in Landscape orientation.…I'll turn off Primary Text Frame, and notice…we can also set margins and columns here.…So let's set up three columns…with a gutter of 12 pixels between them.…And for margins, let's do 36 pixels…on the top, left and right, and 80 pixels on the bottom.…And if I click Preview, I can see what my new document…will look like before I commit to these settings.…That looks good, so I'll click OK.…Next, let's take a look at…the master page for this document.…
