Create and edit swatches and swatch libraries

- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll take a look at creating, managing and applying color swatches to objects in your layout. I'll start by opening the Swatches panel. And you can see there are a bunch of color swatches already there. But let's say that we wanted to take some colors from the cover photo of the candy and apply them to the article titles here on the cover and also inside the magazine. Well, one way to do that would be to use the Eyedropper tool. I'll double click it and that brings up its options and I'll make sure to select Fill Settings and nothing else. So I'll deselect all these others and click Okay. I'll make sure that I have nothing selected in the layout, target the fill in the toolbar and then click with the Eyedropper tool on the color that I want to apply to the text, like maybe one of the reds for the article on boiling. I don't want to apply a stroke to my text, so I'll set that to none up here in the control panel. Now I can apply the sampled color by…
