Converting to a mobile app using the Baker framework

- In this video we're gonna take a look at a free open source library called the Baker Framework. The Baker Framework lets you create iOS book and magazine apps directly from HTML. In order to create an iOS app, you first need the Xcode library, which is a set of developer tools from Apple. Once you have that downloaded and installed, you can download the Baker Framework. When you've got the zip file for the Baker Framework downloaded, you'll want to unzip it. Inside the unzip directory, you'll have an Xcode project and several other directories. The thing we want to focus on is the books directory. That's where we're gonna put our HTML. Now if you want to follow along in the Exercise Files, I'm in Chapter 4, 04_02 in the start directory. Now we have a book directory and we have an hpub file. The hpub file is automatically generated by in5 for use with newsstand issues.
