- [Instructor] The content page is like the cover in the sense that it's a place where it's easy to set a style. And because of that, every contents page design is unique. There really is no set model. A couple of approaches: See Home is a California lifestyle magazine. Pretty contents page that's easy to do. Just list the articles in a column, here it's in the center, every article has the same typographic weight, and I like that they're descriptive, too. Then place your nicest photos in the adjacent columns and reference the page numbers. It'll look consistent every issue, but different, because the pictures change. This layout makes the design decisions for you. National Geographic is more involved but also structured and repeatable. I love the type, there's a serenity to it, light caps, widely spaced, light text in gray. It's stately, and that's because of the structure, and at the same time, quiet.
