- [Instructor] You may hear people talking about a measure of type, or a type measure, and that's actually got very little, most likely, with the actual size of the text. It's actually the number of characters on a line. So, an ideal measure is between 50 and 70 characters on a line for body text, like this, because otherwise your eye has to scan all the way across that page and then all the way back before it can consume the next line. And it's making smaller movements for the eye that makes reading less effort, okay, and, of course, you can get through it quicker. So, this needs to be split up and while we could split it into columns and separate those, what we're going to do instead, here, is we are going to use the frame to do that work for us.
