Coloring type and frames

- In this movie I'll show you how to change the color of type as well as text frames here inside InDesign. I'll start by double clicking someplace inside my text with the selection tool in order to automatically switch over to the type tool and position my blinking insertion marker. It's appearing at an unexpected location because I've set up multiple columns. Now let's say I want to change the color of the first two words of type. I'll click and hold on the second word and it'll drag over to the first word like so. Now color is a character level formatting attribute. So click on the A on the far left side of the control panel so that you can see the color option about midway in. Notice if you hover over it, it reads fill and that's because this is the fill color for the text. That is the color with which the letters are filled. By default it's set to black. To change the color click on the right pointing arrow head and then you'll see a list of colors that are saved as swatches…
