- [Instructor] This week's type tip is about the exciting new frontier of color fonts. Currently, they're supported in Illustrator and Photoshop. At the time of recording, they are not supported in InDesign, but hopefully that will change soon. There aren't that many of them available, but there is an ever-increasing number. One that is pre-installed with Photoshop and Illustrator is Trajan Color Concept. It's like the Trajan you know and love, except it's in color And if you want to change the colors of the glyphs, you can just select them, you will see your type contextual controls appear beneath the selection, probably a good idea to go to the Glyphs panel where you'll see all of your available alternates. And you can just double-click to change the color of your selected glyph. A popular and currently free color font is Gilbert, named after Gilbert Baker who designed the rainbow flag.
