- [Voiceover] To conclude this first chapter, a few words about choosing typefaces. The aesthetics of choosing typefaces. Very much my own opinion. Very subjective. Many people would disagree with me. There are two categories of typeface that I think are best avoided. Those that are through no fault of their own over exposed. They've just become too popular. We see them too often and I think we become a little bit bored with them. And while these are in and of themselves very beautiful fonts. Minion Pro and Georgia and Myriad are fantastic except that they're a bit like a song that is on the radio that I've heard too many times. And I feel like personally I need to give them bit of a rest. Although contradicting that I'm using both Minion Pro and Myriad Pro quite extensively in my presentation materials just because they are so widely available and if you're following along with my files, I can be relatively assured of you also having those typefaces. But I would tend to avoid them…
