Character and paragraph formatting

- [Narrator] When working with text and InDesign, you're often adjusting a variety of properties. For example, left or right indent, leading, point size, underlying, you name it. For organizational purposes InDesign divides these options into character and paragraph formatting up here at the top in your control panel, or in two different categories here in the properties panel. To switch back and forth between character and paragraph formatting you need to use these two buttons over here on left side of the control panel or over here in the properties panel and to see all of the options, you have to click on this more button in order to see all of the available properties. Now if you're monitor is large enough, you'll see both of these options up here at the top in your control panel. And whichever button is chosen, that option is going to appear over here on the left.
