Change page size fast with the Page tool
- [Instructor] InDesign isn't just for laying out pages, you can use it for logo design, banner ads, all kinds of things. Like I made this logo here and I want to export it as a PNG, or a PDF, or something that lets me use it in another program or even on a web page. But, there's a problem. If I export this now, the graphic will be the size of the whole page, so I need to make the page smaller so that there's not so much white space. Fortunately, there's a tool that makes this super easy, the page tool. That's the third tool down in the tool panel. And, when you click that, you can see these side and corner handles. Because InDesign kind of treats the whole page as though it were like a frame. Like I can just drag the corner down and it changes the page size just like cropping an image by changing the size of the frame, right? But, there's a problem.
