Auto-formatting as you type

In this final exercise of this chapter, I am going to show you how the next style setting allows us to format text as we create it inside of InDesign. I am working inside of this document called Formatted document.indd because it has been entirely formatted now. It's found inside the 02 Graph Styles folder and this is just a catch-up document. If you have been working along with me since the very beginning of this chapter then there is no reason for you to switch documents. Alright, I am going to go ahead and grab the Type tool and I could do that by pressing the T Key if I want.

I am going to click after the period in our garden, because that's the end of the article. Then I am going to press the Enter key here on the PC or the Return key on the Mac, and I am going to type 44. Look at that. Automatically styles this, because I have said that the next style after Description is Page No. & Title. So InDesign can style as we go. Then I will press the Tab key after 44 and I will type ...
