- [Narrator] Nothing spices up an interactive PDF like a video. And as you know since you're in the online training library, there's nothing so good as a movie to demonstrate techniques or get a point across visually. So, the good news is that it's really easy to add a movie or sound file to your InDesign document and then export it to PDF. But the bad news is that it's harder than you'd expect to play the video. And the reason is, that right now most PDF readers don't play video or audio at all. They just totally ignore it. Now Adobe Acrobat can play it, but it still requires that you have Flash installed on your computer. And as you know Flash is disappearing. It's not on any hardly any mobile devices and it's on fewer and fewer desktop or laptop machines these days. I would say that this is my biggest frustration with interactive PDF right now.
