Apply conditions to styles
- [Instructor] In this movie I'll show how we can use Find Change to apply a condition to certain text based on a paragraph style. In this outline I would like to be able to show and hide the second level of head so that I can see and print out just the top level heads. I'm going to come to my window menu and to type and tables and open my conditional text panel. I'll add a condition. And I'm going to call this Head2. To apply this condition, I select the text and click the check mark next to the condition name. And then I can show and hide that text by clicking on the idle. But I want to apply the condition in a more automated way. Firstly, let's come to the paragraph styles panel and I want to point out if we edit heading two, that there is no way of incorporating a condition into a paragraph style definition.
