- [Instructor] Let's see how to make bullet points appear one at a time in a PDF presentation created in InDesign. And this time we can't use the Animation panel since InDesign animations won't work in a PDF. Instead, we can mimic the effect of animated bullet points by putting each new one on a separate page. So when the speaker wants to show a new bullet point, they can simply advance to the next slide. This approach also works if you're exporting to the other formats, but there are some downsides. First of all, it can be tedious to set up and to make changes if you have a lot of slides with bullet points. Also, you can't make each point fade in, and there's a flashing effect as each new page loads in ePub and publish online, which can be fine under normal circumstances, but it breaks the illusion that you're just showing a series of bullet points on a single slide.
