Adding type to the gig poster

- [Instructor] In this second part I'm going to add the type. My type is in a text file, which I'm going to copy, and then paste into Illustrator. I'll increase the size of it, so we can see what we're working with. I'm holding down the shift key as I'm scaling it up. Now there are several things that I want to happen to all of the type, so before I cut it into separate pieces I'll just do a few things to it. I want to make it UPPERCASE, I prefer to use Optical kerning, and I would also like some negative tracking, -10, because I want the text to be dense and impactful. And I'm also going to change the typeface to Clarendon Text Pro Bold. This is available on TypeKit. It's a slab serif typeface. If you don't have access to TypeKit then just use something equivalent. So at this point I'm ready to now triple-click on that first line and Command or Control + X to cut that, cmd and then click and then insert my type cursor, and Command or Control + V to paste it.
