Adding the tread effects with Adobe Stock
- [Instructor] Alright for the next step, I want to add these bicycle treads which lead from the top of the page and connect with the I in from the left and connect with the T, and then out from the R leading off the page. And this is going to involve using a pattern. I'm going to start with a piece of stock artwork. This from Adobe Stock, we have these five different bicycle treads. I'm going to choose the fourth of these. I will copy it, Command or Control + C, and then move to my work in progress and paste it, Command or Control + V. Let's just make sure that I'm on the right layer, I want to be on type layer. I want to make this into a pattern swatch. So having pasted it, I'm then going to first of all, just drag it onto the paste board, and then from the paste board onto my swatches panel. So that's now a pattern swatch, we are going to find that we need to adjust the way the pattern behaves but we'll come to that in a moment. The next step is to draw the shapes for the pattern…
