- Adding audio and video is one of the most exciting ways that you can enhance a publication when you convert it from print to digital, and the good news is that almost every publishing format that we're covering in this course supports audio and video. So, let's see some examples. I have a very simple file here in InDesign with just a couple of paragraphs surrounding a video that I've anchored in the text frame, and the video is in mp4 format, which is the recommended format for most digital publishing uses. I'm just going to export this document a few different ways to confirm how the video looks and works in each instance. So, I'll press COMMAND or CTRl+E, I'll export the desktop, I'll just call it "video", and the format will be PDF interactive. Click save, and okay. When the PDF opens in Acrobat, I can click on the video to play it. But notice that I had no way to stop the video once it started. It just kept playing all the way to the end.
