Adding live and static captions

I have my brochure file open from the Exercise folder, and I'm going to jump to the next spread by pressing Option+Page Down on the Mac or Alt+Page Down on Windows. I see some images down here that needs some help, so let's go ahead and zoom in on those. These images need captions, specifically photo credits. Now those photo credits might have been emailed to me, or maybe somebody slipped them to me on a Post-it, in which case they're completely lost now. But I am in luck, because I know that these images have metadata in them, data about the image that's hidden inside the file. You can see and edit metadata in several places, including Adobe Bridge. Let's just switch over to Bridge for a moment, and we can see that this image has metadata. I can tell because in the lower- right corner, I see the metadata panel. All kinds of information about this image is listed here in the metadata panel. But the stuff I'm looking for is inside this section called IPTC Core. The name is geeky, but…
