Adding content to a presentation

- [Instructor] In a previous movie, we set up all the slides for our presentation as document pages in our InDesign file. Now it's time to add the content, the actual text and images that we want to present. We'll start with the text, which is in a Word file in the Links folder of the Exercise Files. So I'll choose File, Place and find that file, which is this one here, PresentationText.docx. I'll place that. And because the text was formatted with styles in Word that are named the same as my InDesign styles, the text comes in properly formatted. Just to be sure that there are no local overrides to the text formatting, I'll select all the text and go to the Paragraph Styles panel and click the button to clear overrides. Now the text frames I need to fill are all from master pages. So I'll command-shift-click, or control-shift-click on Windows, on each one of them to apply an override so I can paste the text in.
