- In this movie, we'll look at how to add animation effects to a presentation built in InDesign. And while InDesign does allow you to build many different kinds of animation effects, it really is best to keep things simple. You don't want to have graphics or text bouncing and zooming all around the screen, distracting and confusing your audience. Simple effects like fading in and fading out, sliding in and sliding out are all you'll need in most cases. Now, you might be wondering why we're talking about adding special effects like animation before we've even added the basic content to our presentation. And that's because you should use the same animation effects consistently throughout your presentation. And in order to do that efficiently, you need to take advantage of master pages.
