- [Instructor] Let's continue reviewing the InDesign ACA objectives with a look at adding text to our layouts. In our exercise file, we have a two-page layout with a bunch of separate text frames arranged around some images. And in the exercise files folder for this movie, you'll find a Microsoft Word document with the text we want to flow into our InDesign layout. The text has been formatted with styles to match the styles we have in the InDesign document and I'll show those by switching to the typography workspace and going to the Paragraph Styles panel and Character Styles. So, let's place the Word document by choosing File, Place, and navigating to this file, Recipes.docx. In the Place dialog box, notice this Show Import Options checkbox. This can be very useful for dealing with text formatting from Word. You can select it, but if you do so, just know that this is a sticky setting, that it will stay on and show an Options dialog box every time you place content into InDesign until…
