The addition of navigation buttons that allow the reader to move from page to page in the brochure will be demonstrated in this movie. Buttons to jump to the first and last pages of the brochure will also be added.
- [Instructor] The first kind of interactivity…that we'll add to our document will help our readers…navigate through the pages and jump to the content…that they're interested in.…And we'll do that by converting regular page objects…into buttons.…Now before we start working on this document,…let's change our workspace here in InDesign…so we have most of the tools for working with…interactivity right at our fingertips.…I'll go to the workspace menu and switch from Essentials…to Interactive for PDF.…This is a work space that ships with InDesign,…but you can modify it to suit your needs,…and you can always get back to the default arrangement…of panels in this work space by choosing…Reset Interactive for PDF from that same menu.…
Now let's make a few changes here.…We're not going to use the sample buttons and forms library,…so I'll right click on it and choose Close…and I'll do the same for Page Transitions,…Color,…Stroke,…Gradient,…CC Libraries,…and now we have a nice uncluttered work space…with just the panels that we're going to use.…
