Adding hyperlinks is the simplest way to make a digital brochure more effective than a print version. In this video, the process of adding hyperlinks will be demonstrated, and links to websites, as well as links to send an email will be created.
- So far we've added elements to our brochure…that allow viewers to click to navigate within the document…using both buttons and bookmarks.…But there's a third way to add this kind of navigation…by using links to specific destinations within the document…and of course you can also add hyperlinks…to destinations outside the document,…like to the URL of a website.…So, let's see how to do that.…In our exercise file, notice in the footer on each page…there's the address of the website for the business…which is globebank.net, and if I zoom in…you can see that down here on the bottom left.…
One of the best advantages of a digital brochure…over a print one, is that links like this…allow viewers to take immediate action…when they see something they're interested in.…So let's go ahead and make this a working hyperlink.…In the Pages panel, I'll double click the A Master…to jump to it, and that's where this text frame is.…So I'll select the text frame with the selection tool,…and in the Hyperlinks panel,…I'll click the button to create a new hyperlink.…
