400 Change the space between objects fast!
- [Instructor] This next trick is so obscure that few InDesign users know it, but it's so incredibly useful. Check it out. How can I add space between each of these objects evenly? I know I could move this one over and then move this one over and so on, but that's not very precise, right? Let me undo that with a Command+Z or Ctrl+Z a couple of times. This is the trick; to add space evenly, first I select all of these objects, then I start dragging one of the corner or side handles. But while I'm dragging, I'm going to hold down the space bar on the keyboard. I keep it held down until I let go of the mouse button. When I do, you can see it adds space between each of the objects. I'll do it again with this grid down here. I'll select all of these objects, and this time I'm going to drag this corner handle. I'm going to click and pause for a moment first. That kicks me into what's called the live editing mode so I can actually see the objects move. Now I'll start dragging, and you can…
