- [Instructor] You know how to make a star burst, right? You just choose the Polygon Tool over here in the Tool panel and then double click on that tool. Up comes the Polygon Settings dialog box and you can change the number of sides. Say to 20 and then the inset to say 50%. Now when I click and drag, I get a really interesting star burst. I'll hold down the Shift key to make sure that it's height-width proportional. So, that's fun but I want to show you a little trick that can turn these normal star bursts into crazy shapes. So, I'm going to choose the direct selection tool, that's the second tool in the Tool panel. Now I'm going to click out here to deselect all the points and finally I'm going to click and drag in between these points just that I can select all of the points on the inside of the star burst. So, if you look closely, you'll see that the outside points have little squares that are not filled in, which means they're not selected. And the inside points have squares that…
