388 Split a text frame into multiple threaded frames

- [Instructor] When I need text in multiple columns, I almost always use a single frame that is set to contain multiple columns, like this one. Now you can, of course, change the number of columns by selecting the frame, then choosing the Object menu, and choosing Text Frame Options. Here, this is a two-column text frame. And I could if I wanted to change it to say, three. When I click OK, there we go. We have a three-column text frame, but sometimes a single multi-column text frame cannot give me what I need. For example, what if I want one of these columns to be more narrow or I want this last column to be a bit longer? I cannot adjust individual columns of a multi-column text frame, but I could if these were made of three separate text frames that were threaded together so that the story would run from one to the next. Now of course, I could draw out three text frames and thread them, and then cut and paste the text story, but that would be really tedious, right? Instead, wouldn't…
