- [Instructor] I find that very few InDesign users know about a feature called snippets, which is too bad because they're super helpful, especially when you want to copy some of your page elements from one document to another, or exchange them with other people. A snippet is just a way to save one or more objects on your page to a file on disk. And then you can place that file into another document or email to someone else to use or whatever. Now one of the best uses for snippets is to share color swatches or styles. For example, I have several color swatches down here that I want to use in another file. So I'm going to apply each one of these to a different object on my page. It doesn't matter what order you do them in.
