- [Instructor] Have you ever found yourself in a situation, you are laying out some text and you need to save a line? So for example I want to remove one line from this paragraph. What would you do? Well, you might do what I often do which is to select some text and then track it in. I'm going to press the option or alt key and the left arrow, seeing if that works, okay that works, that looks beautiful, doesn't it? (sarcastic laughter) Of course it doesn't, it's too much so I'm going to select this and come up here, well 40's too much, maybe -30 will work. Let's see, oh no, that's not going to, do -35, and so on, it's ridiculous. You can spend forever doing this. I want to show you a better way to quickly apply the kind of tracking that you want or the kind of spacing that you want, let me put it that way, to different paragraphs to add lines or to remove lines instead of applying manual overrides via tracking as I just did.
