- [Instructor] If you've ever placed a Microsoft Word document into InDesign, you know that sometimes gunk comes with it. Sometimes you get these extra RGB color swatches, or sometimes you'll get extra paragraph styles, like normal, that you didn't want or expect. And you may take some time cleaning up your InDesign document and getting rid of that stuff. But there's one more thing that comes in with certain Word documents that you may not have noticed, and that's a bookmark. Here, I'll show you. I'll go to the window menu, choose interactive and then choose bookmarks. Let's go ahead and close the swatches panel, and you can see inside the bookmarks panel that there's a bookmark called go back, and it has a little anchor icon. Now I didn't put that there. That came when I placed this Word document. And here's the thing. It's not all Word files. Just the ones that have the DocX file extension. But these days, that's most Word documents, right?
