337 Footnote and endnote keyboard shortcuts

- [Instructor] If you are busy laying out, flowing in text, even maybe writing text for a long document, you'll find yourself frequently inserting footnotes and endnotes. And you probably already know, that to do so, you go to the Type menu and chose Insert Footnote and Insert Endnote. Or, you can right click, and chose Insert Footnote, Insert Endnote. I've already inserted a footnote right here, and if I right click on it, I can jump back to the footnote reference. That's nice and easy, you can see, blinking there. But what I suggest that you do, is to create keyboard shortcuts for all of this kind of navigation, so that you don't have to keep right-clicking. You can just stay on the keyboard, where you're entering your footnote and endnote text. To do that, go to Edit, Keyboard Shortcuts, you can't edit the default set, so you have to create a new set. Chose that from the dropdown menu if you've done so. Or click New Set, give it a name. I'll call mine AMC. All these commands are…
