328 Naming items in the Layers panel

- [Instructor] You probably already know that you can go over to the layers panel and then expand the layer to see what objects are on that layer. You can see that, on this layer, I have a bunch of images and polygons and rectangles. And that's cool, but these names are not really helpful. There's no way I could tell, from this name, which image it is on the page. But, fortunately, InDesign lets you change these names to whatever you want. It's really easy, but it's totally not obvious at first, how to do it. The trick is to use what's called "the Southern double-click". I call it "Southern" because my folks used to live in Texas. And my dad is like me. He starts talking really fast sometimes. And whenever my stepmom wanted my dad to talk slower, she'd say, "Honey, talk Texan." You know, like in the South, they talk slower, with breaks between the words. So, a Southern double-click means you click, and then you pause, and then you click again. You see how it highlights?
