284 How to correct hyphenation

- [Instructor] This mystery was driving me crazy. Why won't the hyphenated word, well-respected, right there, why won't it break after that hyphen? Obviously the whole compound word well-respected, won't fit on the line, so it does need to break. But you would think that it would break after this first hyphen, after well, right? Instead it's forcing the second word, respected to hyphenate, which I think is just weird. Now InDesign usually does such a good job of setting type and hyphenating but sometimes it can get a little strange when it comes to this kind of compound word. One with a hyphen in it. So I was trying to figure out what could be going wrong here? So I tried placing my cursor inside the frame, I just double-click with the selection tool and that switches to the type tool. And then I went up to the control panel menu and I tried changing from Paragraph Composer to Single-line Composer. I'm notgonna do that now because it had no effect! So then I went down to the…
