274 When white is set to overprint

- [Voiceover] I have here a logo for CreativePro. That's a website that I co-publish with Anne-Marie Concepcion. You should check it out sometime at CreativePro.com. Anyway, this logo is sitting on top of a dark background. And it looks good, but there's a hidden problem. And you can see that problem if you go up to the View menu, and you chose Overprint Preview. What happened to the logo? I have to tell you that this was actually a real problem. I was working on a project, and I was moving too quickly, and I sent it out with this logo to the printer. And when they sent back a proof? Well, thank goodness that I looked at the proof carefully, because the logo was missing. Just like this. There was a drop shadow but no white logo on top of it. So, I went back and looked at the document, and I turned on Overprint Preview. And, yep, it ain't there. So, what happened? Well, let's look at some of the reasons why it might not show up.
